^6 [a]Since ^(A)it is right ^[b]for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you, ⁷ and to give rest to you who are afflicted ^[c]and to us as well ^(B)at the revelation of the Lord Jesus ^(C)from heaven ^(D)with ^[d]His mighty angels ^(E)in flaming fire, ⁸ executing vengeance on those who ^(F)do not know God and to those who ^(G)do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
